Gozu Deluxe Box (Australian Import) [4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray]

Gozu Deluxe Box 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray presents Takashi Miike’s 2003 surreal yakuza nightmare in a limited Australian import release from New Wave Video. Newly restored from the only surviving 35mm Cannes print, the film arrives in a Director Approved Special Edition with Dolby Vision / HDR10, restored audio and extensive new extras.

When yakuza enforcer Minami is ordered to dispose of his increasingly unstable mentor, Ozaki, a strange disappearance leads him into a rural town where reality begins to unravel. As his search grows more desperate, Minami encounters eccentric strangers, grotesque visions and impossible situations that pull him deeper into a waking nightmare.

Wildly imaginative, darkly funny and deeply unsettling, Gozu is one of Miike’s most daring and acclaimed works, blending psychological horror, yakuza cinema and surrealist absurdity. This deluxe box set includes the feature on 4K UHD and Blu-ray, new commentary, new interviews, video essays, legacy documentary, raw behind-the-scenes footage, trailer, hardbox, poster, postcards and hardcover book.
