Gregory's Girl (UK Import) [Blu-ray]

Gregory’s Girl Blu-ray presents Bill Forsyth’s endlessly charming Scottish coming-of-age comedy, a film whose awkward warmth and gentle humour have secured its place as one of Britain’s most beloved classics. Gregory Underwood is a gawky, shy teenager whose dreams of football glory collapse when he’s dropped from his school team—only to be replaced by Dorothy, a confident and talented girl who instantly captivates him. As Gregory clumsily plots a way into her heart, he stumbles through friendship, jealousy, and first love, discovering that romance rarely follows the script you expect.

Released in 1981, Gregory’s Girl defined a new kind of youth comedy—quiet, observant, and deeply humane. Forsyth’s naturalistic dialogue, unforced performances, and affectionate portrait of adolescent confusion transformed a small Scottish production into an international favourite. This Second Sight UK import edition brings the film to Blu-ray with a strong slate of extras exploring its legacy, creation, and enduring cultural impact. Now out of print, this edition remains the definitive home-video release for collectors.
