Guyver: Dark Hero Blu-ray makes its long-awaited Blu-ray debut with a new transfer sourced from the best surviving film elements and includes both the original 1994 version and an enhanced cut featuring updated visual effects. Directed by creature effects master Steve Wang, this cult sci-fi action sequel is widely regarded by fans as an improvement over the original film.
Sean Barker returns as the powerful Guyver, still battling the sinister Zoanoids and the forces that seek to dominate humanity. His search for answers leads him to an archaeological dig in Utah, where the discovery of an alien spacecraft reveals technology capable of destroying the world. With an ancient evil threatening mankind's future, Guyver must make a final stand against overwhelming odds in a battle that will determine the fate of the planet.
Packed with martial arts action, creature effects and comic book-inspired spectacle, Guyver: Dark Hero has become a cult favourite among fans of 1990s genre cinema.
