Hardware (1990) (Standard Edition) (Australian Import) [4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray]

Hardware 4K Ultra HD unleashes Richard Stanley’s cult cyberpunk nightmare fully uncut and uncensored in a brand new HDR restoration supervised by the director himself. A blistering fusion of industrial horror, post-apocalyptic dystopia and metallic body horror, Hardware remains one of the most ferocious genre statements of the 1990s.

Set in a nuclear-scarred wasteland, a wandering “Zone Tripper” brings home a battered cyborg skull as a gift for his metal-sculptor girlfriend. But the scrap heap relic contains the brain of the M.A.R.K. 13, a ruthless military combat droid capable of reassembling itself piece by piece. As the machine regenerates inside their apartment, the night becomes a claustrophobic siege of steel, flesh and fire.

Presented here as a Standard Edition 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray set from Umbrella Entertainment, Hardware arrives newly remastered in HDR with an extensive suite of archival and newly produced special features celebrating Richard Stanley’s uncompromising vision.
