Hayop Ka! Limited Edition (US Import) [Blu-ray]

HAYOP KA! Limited Edition Blu-ray presents Avid Liongoren’s vibrant 2020 Filipino animated feature from Rocketsheep Studio and Deaf Crocodile Films. Inspired by the heightened emotions of telenovela romance melodramas, the film blends sharp comedy, colourful animation and playful social satire into a uniquely Filipino story of love, ambition and temptation.

Nimfa is a perfume saleswoman in Manila whose life becomes complicated after a fortune teller predicts she will fall in love with two different men. One is Roger, her loyal but unambitious longtime boyfriend, while the other is Iñigo, a wealthy executive who introduces her to a very different world.

Stylish, funny and full of personality, HAYOP KA! stands as one of the rare Filipino animated features made in the Philippines and rooted in its culture. This limited edition Blu-ray includes a booklet, new commentary, visual essay, filmmaker interview, short films by Avid Liongoren, trailers, concept artwork and new art by Beth Morris.
