The Heartland of Darkness Blu-ray collector’s edition resurrects a long-lost slice of late-80s Satanic Panic cinema. Shot in 1989 and unreleased for over three decades, the film follows former journalist Paul Henson as he uncovers a deadly conspiracy involving ritual murders, cult influence and a sinister reverend controlling an entire Ohio town. Long considered the “lost” Linnea Quigley movie, Heartland of Darkness finally arrives in its first official home-video release, loaded with documentaries, commentaries, archival materials and rare alternate cuts that document its troubled production and unexpected resurrection.

directed by: Eric Swelstad
