Hey, Stop Stabbing Me! [Blu-ray]

Hey, Stop Stabbing Me Blu-ray brings back the long out-of-print SOV cult classic with over nine hours of newly produced bonus content. Long before they went on to mainstream success with studio comedies and blockbuster franchises, filmmakers Josh Miller and Pat Casey spent the summer of 2000 armed with just $500, a MiniDV camera and a group of friends in Bloomington, Minnesota, creating one of the most inventive and chaotic comedies of the shot-on-video era. This gleefully deranged suburban nightmare collides serial killers, hole diggers, nympho girlfriends, clothes-stealing monsters and lawn-mower murders into a hyperactive comedy-horror cocktail that Film Threat praised as “goofy and funny with charm to spare.” Newly remastered in HD, Hey, Stop Stabbing Me Blu-ray finally returns as a definitive edition, packed with extensive reunions, commentaries, short films and archival extras that celebrate its DIY legacy.
