Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows [Blu-ray]

Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows Blu-ray presents Paul Jay’s landmark 1998 wrestling documentary from Canadian International Pictures and OCN Distribution. Set during the height of the WWF/WCW rivalry, the film follows Bret “The Hitman” Hart as his loyalty, career and legacy become tangled in one of professional wrestling’s most infamous real-life betrayals.

With unprecedented access to Bret Hart, Vince McMahon, the Hart family and the backstage world of wrestling, the documentary captures the events leading up to the Montreal Screwjob and the fallout that followed. What begins as a portrait of a legendary performer becomes a gripping behind-the-scenes account of power, trust, family and the blurred line between performance and reality.

This 25th Anniversary Special Edition also includes the companion documentary The Life and Death of Owen Hart, exploring the tragic death of Bret’s brother Owen, along with commentary, new and archival interviews, screwjob-specific commentary, booklet, reversible cover artwork and English SDH subtitles.
