Hoffmaniada Standard Edition [Blu-ray]

Hoffmaniada Blu-ray is a visually breathtaking stop-motion fantasy from acclaimed Russian animator Stanislav Sokolov. Decades in the making and produced by the legendary Soyuzmultfilm studio, this ambitious adaptation draws from the writings of E.T.A. Hoffmann to create a dreamlike world filled with magic, mythology and imagination.

Blending elements from several of Hoffmann's most celebrated stories with episodes from the author's own life, the film follows a struggling government clerk whose reality becomes intertwined with fantastical visions of clockwork automatons, witches, enchanted creatures and the lost city of Atlantis. Richly detailed puppetry and stunning handcrafted animation bring this extraordinary Gothic fairy tale to life.

Often compared to the work of Henry Selick and the imaginative worlds of classic fantasy literature, Hoffmaniada stands as one of the most impressive stop-motion achievements ever produced and a remarkable addition to the genre.
