Hold That Ghost 4K Ultra HD presents one of Abbott and Costello’s most beloved comedies in a brand new Dolby Vision restoration from a 4K scan of the original camera negative. Blending slapstick comedy with spooky haunted-house hijinks, this 1941 classic became one of the duo’s biggest hits and laid the groundwork for their later horror-comedy favourites.

Bud Abbott and Lou Costello star as two unsuspecting heirs who inherit a rundown roadhouse once owned by a notorious gangster. Rumour has it the mobster hid a fortune somewhere inside the building, but the property may also be haunted. As the pair arrive to claim their inheritance, strange occurrences begin to unfold—lights flicker, eerie sounds echo through the halls, and mysterious murders leave the guests fearing something supernatural may be lurking inside.

Packed with classic Abbott and Costello routines, musical performances by The Andrews Sisters and scene-stealing support from Joan Davis, Hold That Ghost remains a fast-paced and hilarious blend of comedy and spooky thrills from the golden age of Hollywood.
