Holler [Blu-ray]

Holler Blu-ray presents a grounded and emotionally resonant coming-of-age drama shaped by economic hardship, family loyalty and the difficult pull between staying and leaving.

Set in a struggling Ohio town marked by industrial decline, the film follows Ruth Avery as she works dangerous scrap jobs alongside her brother while trying to secure a path to college. As opportunity and obligation begin to collide, the story becomes a deeply personal exploration of sacrifice, ambition and what it costs to imagine a different future.

Written and directed by Nicole Riegel, the film balances social realism with intimate character drama, anchored by Jessica Barden’s compelling performance and a clear sense of place shaped by lived-in detail.
