Hot Dog... The Movie [Blu-ray]

The Hot Dog… The Movie Blu-ray unleashes the unrated producer’s cut of the 1984 ski-comedy cult classic, restored in full 4K from the original 35mm camera negative. Harkin Banks, a small-town American skier with big ambitions, takes on smug Austrian champion Rudi Garmisch in a downhill battle of skill, ego and pure ’80s excess. Between outrageous stunts, hard-partying “Rat Pack” hijinks and the seductive interference of Rudi’s glamorous ex (Shannon Tweed), the rivalry builds toward the infamous—and dangerous—“Chinese Downhill.” Featuring restored scenes, extra nudity and material absent from the theatrical cut, this edition finally presents writer–producer Mike Marvin’s original vision in all its unfiltered glory.
