Incense for the Damned/Bloodsuckers (UK Import) [Blu-ray]

Incense for the Damned / Bloodsuckers Blu-ray presents Robert Hartford-Davis’s 1969 British vampire film in a UK import limited edition release. Also known under its US title Bloodsuckers, the film stars Patrick Mower, Patrick Macnee, Peter Cushing, Edward Woodward, Imogen Hassall, Alex Davion and Johnny Sekka.

Richard Fountain, an academic on a research trip to Mykonos, disappears into a strange world of obsession, secrecy and moral collapse. As those around him try to understand what has happened, the story moves between psychological unease, vampire mythology and late-1960s countercultural horror.

Stylish, provocative and unusual within British horror of the period, Incense for the Damned blends gothic atmosphere with sun-drenched locations and a more transgressive edge. This limited edition UK Blu-ray includes three versions of the film, new commentaries, new programmes on Simon Raven and the making of the film, English subtitles, new artwork and limited O-card packaging.
