Invaders of The Lost Gold [Blu-ray]

Invaders of the Lost Gold Blu-ray delivers one of the most infamous jungle exploitation epics of the 1980s, produced by genre legend Dick Randall, whose filmography includes some of the wildest international cult cinema ever made. Set in the final days of World War II, the story begins as a Japanese platoon is massacred by headhunters while attempting to hide millions in stolen gold deep in the Philippine jungle. Decades later, a hardened guide is hired to lead a volatile expedition back into the wilderness, where greed, violence, nudity, and betrayal erupt in brutal fashion. Featuring an outrageous ensemble cast including Stuart Whitman, Woody Strode, Harold “Oddjob” Sakata, and Laura Gemser, Invaders of the Lost Gold Blu-ray—also known as Horror Safari—has been newly scanned in 2K for the first time ever, preserving its sleazy, sun-scorched excess for modern cult audiences.
