J-Horror Rising Blu-ray Set brings together seven chilling Japanese horror films from the late 1990s and 2000s, capturing the global resurgence of supernatural terror that redefined the genre. Presented in High Definition with extensive special features, this Arrow Video collection explores folklore, urban legend and psychological dread at the height of the J-horror boom.

This four-disc set includes:

Shikoku (1999)
Isola: Multiple Personality Girl (2000)
Inugami (2001)
St. John’s Wort (2001)
Carved: The Slit-Mouthed Woman (2007)
Persona (2001)
Noroi: The Curse (2005)

From ghostly rural pilgrimages and fractured identities to cursed urban legends and pseudo-documentary cosmic horror, these films showcase the range and innovation of modern Japanese terror. Noroi: The Curse stands as a landmark found-footage nightmare, while Carved reimagines the terrifying slit-mouthed woman myth for a new generation.

Atmospheric, unsettling and steeped in folklore, J-Horror Rising is a definitive snapshot of a movement that influenced horror worldwide.
