Jean Vigo: A Curzon Collection (UK Import) [4K Ultra HD + Region B Blu-ray]

Jean Vigo A Curzon Collection 4K Ultra HD brings the complete works of the legendary French filmmaker to collectors in a stunning 4K restoration. Released to mark the 120th anniversary of Vigo’s birth, this definitive set presents his entire filmography — L'Atalante, Zéro de conduite, Taris, and À propos de Nice — restored by Gaumont, La Cinémathèque Française, and Martin Scorsese’s The Film Foundation.

Despite a tragically short life, Vigo created some of the most influential works in early cinema, blending poetic realism with a rebellious spirit that would go on to inspire generations of filmmakers. His only feature, L'Atalante, stands as a masterpiece of world cinema, while his shorter works showcase a bold, experimental voice far ahead of its time.

This limited edition set collects Vigo’s complete output alongside extensive archival materials, alternate versions, documentaries, and newly restored elements, offering a comprehensive look at one of cinema’s most important and enduring figures.
