Kind Hearts and Coronets (Australian Import) [4K Ultra HD]

Kind Hearts and Coronets 4K Ultra HD presents Robert Hamer’s classic Ealing black comedy in an Australian import StudioCanal Classics Remastered release. Starring Dennis Price, Valerie Hobson, Joan Greenwood and Alec Guinness, the film remains one of the most elegant and sharply written comedies of British cinema’s golden age.

Louis Mazzini, the impoverished son of a disinherited noblewoman, is determined to claim the title of Duke of Chalfont. After his mother’s final wish is denied by her aristocratic family, Louis begins plotting his way up the family line.

Standing between Louis and the dukedom are eight heirs, all played by Alec Guinness in a celebrated tour-de-force performance. Darkly funny, stylish and wonderfully precise, Kind Hearts and Coronets is a landmark Ealing comedy about class, ambition and revenge.
