Lars Von Trier: A Curzon Collection (UK Import) [Region B Blu-ray]

Lars Von Trier: A Curzon Collection Blu-ray presents a comprehensive 15-disc UK import collection from Curzon, bringing together the feature films of one of modern cinema’s most provocative and formally restless directors. Spanning early shorts, television work, the Europe Trilogy, the Golden Heart Trilogy, the Dogme 95 period and later international works, this set offers a wide-ranging overview of Lars von Trier’s nearly 40-year career.

Known for technical experimentation, confrontational themes, dark humour and a willingness to challenge audiences, von Trier’s films explore guilt, suffering, faith, power, cruelty, desire, depression and the fragile limits of human behaviour. From The Element of Crime, Epidemic and Europa to Breaking the Waves, The Idiots, Dancer in the Dark, Dogville, Antichrist, Melancholia and Nymphomaniac: The Director’s Cut, the collection traces the evolution of one of world cinema’s most controversial auteurs.

Featuring restorations of key works, English subtitles across selected titles and over 19 hours of special features, Lars Von Trier: A Curzon Collection includes interviews, commentaries, behind-the-scenes materials, featurettes, casting tapes, extended and deleted scenes and theatrical trailers.
