Laurin (Visual Vengeance Collector's Edition) [Blu-ray]

Laurin Visual Vengeance Collector’s Edition Blu-ray presents a haunting and deeply unsettling European gothic thriller, restored and packed with extensive archival material for its first-ever North American release. Writer/director Robert Sigl crafts a chilling portrait of childhood isolation, grief and buried trauma set against a deceptively quiet rural backdrop.

Set in 1901 Germany, Laurin follows a withdrawn young girl left to navigate a world of neglect and violence after the death of her mother. As a series of murders begins targeting local children, Laurin becomes increasingly entangled in a nightmare of hallucinations and hidden truths. While the adults remain blind to the darkness surrounding them, a sinister force tied to the past begins to surface.

Atmospheric, eerie and psychologically rich, Laurin blends gothic horror with arthouse sensibilities, earning its reputation as a controversial and enduring cult classic.
