Lore (2012) Limited Edition (Australian Import) [Blu-ray]

Lore (2012) Limited Edition Blu-ray is the acclaimed drama from Australian filmmaker Cate Shortland, offering a powerful and unsettling portrait of Germany in the aftermath of World War II. Based on Rachel Seiffert's novel The Dark Room, the film explores themes of guilt, identity and survival through the eyes of a generation forced to confront the consequences of the Nazi regime.

Following the collapse of the Third Reich, five German siblings are abandoned by their parents and left to fend for themselves in a devastated country. Led by fourteen-year-old Lore, the children undertake a dangerous journey across post-war Germany, encountering hardship, uncertainty and uncomfortable truths that challenge everything they have been taught to believe.

Praised for its striking cinematography and powerful performances, Lore received international acclaim and won multiple awards, including four honours at the Stockholm International Film Festival.
