Love and Other Catastrophes [Blu-ray]

Love and Other Catastrophes Blu-ray presents a sharp, fast-talking Australian romantic comedy that captures the anxieties, ambitions, and romantic confusion of young adulthood in the mid-1990s. Directed by Emma-Kate Croghan, the film blends screwball energy with emotional honesty, weaving together intersecting relationships with wit and warmth.

Mia, an ambitious film studies student, finds her carefully ordered life thrown into disarray by misunderstandings, shifting desires, and the search for love. Her housemate Alice, a perfectionist stalled on her thesis, approaches romance with strict criteria that only complicate matters further. As friendships blur into infatuations and a party-filled night unfolds, expectations unravel and connections realign in unexpected ways.

A breakout film of Australian independent cinema, Love and Other Catastrophes balances playful humour with genuine affection for its characters. Umbrella Entertainment presents the film on Blu-ray with new supplemental material and a limited slipcover edition for collectors.
