Mickey Rooney, Judy Garland and Lana Turner star in this romantic comedy centred on Andy Hardy’s Christmas dance plans. Andy hopes to take Polly, but she will be spending the holiday with her grandmother. He instead agrees to accompany Cynthia while his friend Beezy is away, intending to discourage her other admirers. That arrangement becomes more complicated when Betsy, the girl next door, decides that Andy now appears to be available.
