Mallrats Standard Edition [4K Ultra HD]

Mallrats 4K Ultra HD brings Kevin Smith’s cult sophomore feature to dazzling 4K, restoring the theatrical cut of the film that helped cement the View Askewniverse. After being dumped on the same day, comic-obsessed Brodie and his best friend TS retreat to their local mall to nurse wounded egos and scheme their way back into their girlfriends’ lives. What follows is a freewheeling collision of pop culture riffs, romantic desperation, and stoner chaos, all set against food courts, dating shows, and escalating acts of petty sabotage.

Following the breakout success of Clerks, Smith expanded his comedic universe with a bigger cast, broader set pieces, and the debut of characters and in-jokes that would echo throughout his career. Anchored by Jason Lee’s rapid-fire delivery and early appearances from Ben Affleck, Joey Lauren Adams, and the immortal duo Jay and Silent Bob, Mallrats stands as a defining artifact of mid-’90s indie comedy. Arrow Video’s standard edition presents the film in a director-approved 4K restoration with Dolby Vision and an exhaustive slate of legacy and newly produced bonus features.
