Martyrs Standard Edition (UK Import) [4K Ultra HD]

Martyrs Standard Edition 4K Ultra HD presents Pascal Laugier’s 2008 French horror film in a UK import Masters of Cinema release from Eureka. Widely regarded as one of the defining films of the New French Extremity movement, Martyrs is a bleak, intense and challenging work that blends psychological horror, trauma, mystery and philosophical dread.

After escaping captivity as a child, Lucie forms a close bond with Anna while trying to recover from what happened to her. Fifteen years later, Lucie believes she has found the people responsible and enters the isolated home of the Belfond family, setting off a terrifying chain of events that pulls Anna into something far beyond what she expected.

Disturbing, uncompromising and still heavily discussed, Martyrs has become one of the most notorious and influential horror films of the twenty-first century. This UK import Standard Edition 4K Ultra HD release includes a 4K restoration from the original camera negative, Dolby Vision HDR presentation, commentary, new interviews, video essay, archival documentary, archival interviews, stills gallery and trailers.
