Nighty Night Limited Edition (Australian Import) [Blu-ray]

Nighty Night Blu-ray brings this underground Japanese 8mm horror anthology back to life, resurrected from the only surviving tape master and presented as a director-approved special edition. A true oddity from the fringes of ‘80s horror, this release embraces its raw origins while preserving a piece of lost media history for collectors.

Across four twisted tales, Nighty Night blends gore, surreal imagery and pitch-black humour into a neon-soaked nightmare. From deadly games to bizarre transformations, the film channels the chaotic energy of grassroots filmmaking, backed by a Goblin-inspired synth score that amplifies its dreamlike, unstable tone.

This is not a polished studio production. It is a scrappy, imaginative and deeply weird slice of horror that feels unearthed rather than restored, making it a standout piece for fans of anthology horror and obscure genre cinema.
