Ninja Terminator [Blu-ray]

Ninja Terminator Blu-ray marks the first-ever official HD release of one of the most delirious martial arts cult films ever unleashed. Long circulated in murky, unauthorized copies, this legendary Godfrey Ho oddity finally arrives fully restored and presented as it was meant to be seen.

Attempting to summarize the plot is almost beside the point, but at its core Ninja Terminator follows rival ninjas battling for control of the mythical Golden Ninja Warrior statue, while a secret agent attempts to dismantle an organized crime ring somehow tied to the artifact. What truly defines the film, however, is its relentless barrage of absurdity: mismatched footage, over-the-top dubbing, incoherent narrative leaps, and wall-to-wall ninja chaos that has cemented its reputation as a so-bad-it’s-essential classic.

Restored from a 4K scan of the original negative and presented in its proper widescreen aspect ratio, Ninja Terminator finally receives the treatment it deserves. Packed with multiple commentaries and interviews, this Blu-ray offers vital context for one of the most infamous examples of cut-and-paste martial arts cinema from the 1980s.
