Of Unknown Origin 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray presents George P. Cosmatos’s 1983 urban survival thriller in a 2-disc limited edition release from Vinegar Syndrome. Starring Peter Weller in his first lead role, the film turns a Manhattan brownstone into the battleground for a tense man-versus-nature nightmare.

Bart Hughes is an ambitious executive with a demanding work project, a carefully renovated home and a quiet weekend alone while his wife and son are away. But when a large sewer rat gets inside the house, Bart’s polished life begins to unravel as the intruder pushes him into an increasingly obsessive fight for control.

Fast-moving, unnerving and sharply contained, Of Unknown Origin blends animal-attack suspense with psychological breakdown and urban paranoia. This limited edition 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray set includes a new 4K scan and restoration from the 35mm original camera negative, Dolby Vision, archival and new commentaries, interviews, video essay, location featurette, trailers, gallery, reversible sleeve and limited spot gloss slipcover.
