One False Move [4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray]

One False Move 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray brings Carl Franklin’s devastating 1992 neo-noir to UHD in a director-approved restoration. Set on a collision course between Los Angeles and rural Arkansas, the film follows a small-town police chief (Bill Paxton) hiding a volatile secret, two brutal criminals on the run (cowriter Billy Bob Thornton and Michael Beach), and a woman caught between them (Cynda Williams). Franklin’s precise, patient direction transforms genre mechanics into a deeply human study of violence, race, and buried guilt, where every revelation lands with crushing inevitability. Restored in 4K with Dolby Vision, this edition highlights the film’s stark compositions and simmering tension, supported by essential archival and newly produced supplements.
