Peking Opera Blues Limited Edition Steelbook 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray presents Tsui Hark’s genre-blending Hong Kong classic in a 2-disc collector’s release. Set in chaotic 1920s China, the film unfolds during a period of warlord conflict and revolutionary unrest, as Sun Yat-sen’s underground movement works to establish a democratic republic.

When a box of jewels changes hands during the looting of Peking, a group of young women and men are thrown together in a fast-moving web of mistaken identities, political intrigue and theatrical chaos. Their paths lead to the Peking Opera, where ambition, rebellion and performance collide.

Stylish, energetic and wildly inventive, Peking Opera Blues blends action, comedy, political adventure and backstage drama into one of Tsui Hark’s most beloved films. This Limited Edition Steelbook includes a 4K scan from the original camera negative, Dolby Vision, newly translated English subtitles, commentary, new interviews, archival interviews, theatrical trailer and image gallery.
