Petite Solange [Blu-ray]

Petite Solange Blu-ray presents a sensitive coming-of-age drama from director Axelle Ropert, capturing the quiet devastation of a family unraveling through the eyes of a young girl. Told with restraint and emotional precision, the film observes childhood not as innocence lost, but as awareness painfully gained.

Solange is thirteen, curious and full of life, when her parents’ relationship begins to fracture. As arguments escalate and separation looms, Solange internalizes the collapse, trying to repair what is beyond her control. Her worry turns inward, shaping her behaviour and emotions as she clings to the impossible hope that love, once broken, can be made whole again.

Anchored by a remarkable performance from Jade Springer and supported by Léa Drucker and Philippe Katerine, Petite Solange is an intimate portrait of emotional resilience and vulnerability. Several Futures brings the film to Blu-ray for North American audiences in a limited edition release with thoughtful supplemental material.
