Power Ballad (Australian Import) [Blu-ray]

Power Ballad Blu-ray presents John Carney’s 2025 music-driven comedy starring Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas. Built around friendship, ambition and creative ownership, the film follows two performers at very different stages of their careers whose late-night collaboration changes both of their lives.

Rick is a washed-up wedding singer, while Danny is a fading former boy band star searching for his next move. The two connect over music and an impromptu jam session, but when Danny turns one of Rick’s songs into a hit, their bond quickly fractures.

Determined to reclaim the recognition he believes belongs to him, Rick sets out to challenge Danny and take back control of the song that could finally put him in the spotlight. Power Ballad blends comedy, music and rivalry in a story about fame, friendship and who gets credit when inspiration becomes success.
