Rambling Rose (1991) Limited Edition (Australian Import) [Blu-ray]

Rambling Rose Limited Edition Blu-ray presents Martha Coolidge’s acclaimed period drama, a sensitive and emotionally layered portrait of desire, innocence and disruption set against the backdrop of the Great Depression.

When a free-spirited young woman joins a Southern household as a caretaker, her uninhibited nature quietly unsettles the family’s carefully ordered life. As relationships deepen and tensions rise, the film explores themes of repression, longing and emotional awakening through intimate performances and a richly observed domestic setting.

Starring Laura Dern and Diane Ladd in Academy Award–nominated roles alongside Robert Duvall, Rambling Rose remains a poignant and character-driven drama, adapted from the novel by Calder Willingham.
