Raw Talent [Blu-ray]

Raw Talent Blu-ray presents a multi award-winning meta drama from writer/producer Joyce Snyder and director Larry Revene, blending introspective character study with outrageous adult filmmaking spectacle. Set against the gritty backdrop of 1980s New York, the film follows struggling actor Eddie Czeropski as he drifts into the adult film industry under the guidance of tough-as-nails director Carolyn King. What begins as a temporary detour quickly transforms into unexpected stardom — and an inescapable past.

As the rise of home video threatens to immortalize his adult screen persona just as mainstream opportunity beckons, Eddie must confront the collision between ambition, exploitation, and identity. Featuring Jerry Butler in one of his most acclaimed performances, alongside Lisa Deleeuw, Cassandra Leigh, Joey Silvera, Ron Jeremy, Rhonda Jo Petty, Jose Duvall, and Taija Rae, Raw Talent stands as one of the era’s most provocative and self-aware adult features. This Quality X edition restores the film in 4K from its original 35mm camera negative, fully uncut for the first time in nearly four decades.
