Resurrection Of Eve [Blu-ray]

Resurrection Of Eve Blu-ray presents a landmark work of 1970s American erotica, newly restored and presented in a deluxe limited edition. Directed by Jon Fontana and Artie Mitchell, the film follows Eve through a fractured journey of memory, trauma, and self-discovery, as childhood wounds, romantic idealism, and bodily transformation collide. After a devastating car accident leaves her disfigured, Eve is forced to confront the expectations imposed on her by lovers, society, and herself, gradually reclaiming agency as she sheds guilt and repression. Lyrical, confrontational, and emotionally ambitious, the film uses erotic cinema as a vehicle for broader reflections on identity, conformity, and liberation.

Created in the wake of the Mitchell Brothers’ massive success with Behind the Green Door, Resurrection Of Eve was conceived as a more expansive and socially engaged follow-up. Infused with pointed commentary on race and women’s liberation, the film stars Marilyn Chambers alongside Mimi Morgan and Nancy Weich in striking debut performances, supported by Johnnie Keyes. With evocative cinematography by Jon Fontana, expressive editing, and a powerful original score by Richard Wynkoop, the film stands as a key title in the evolution of erotica as art. This Blu-ray release from the Mitchell Brothers Film Group marks the film’s long-awaited debut on the format, newly restored in 4K.

This special limited edition Blu-ray includes a spot gloss hard slipcase and slipcover combo designed by Robert Sammelin, a 24-page perfect-bound book, and is strictly limited to 3,000 units.
