Rocco And His Brothers 4K Ultra HD presents Luchino Visconti’s sweeping family epic in a newly restored edition, following a widowed mother and her five sons as they leave rural southern Italy for Milan, where ambition, jealousy, love, and sacrifice collide with devastating consequences. Expansive yet intimate, the film captures the emotional toll of displacement and modernity with operatic scale and deep human empathy.

Starring Alain Delon in one of his most iconic performances, Rocco And His Brothers bridges Italian neorealism and grand melodrama, balancing social realism with heartbreaking moral complexity. Its luminous black and white photography and layered portrait of brotherhood left a lasting imprint on filmmakers including Francis Ford Coppola and Martin Scorsese.

This UK import release from BFI marks the first time the film has appeared on 4K Ultra HD in the UK, featuring Dolby Vision and a newly commissioned audio commentary.
