Running Out Of Time Collection [Blu-ray]

Running Out Of Time Collection Blu-ray brings together Johnnie To’s acclaimed Hong Kong action thrillers Running Out of Time (1999) and Running Out of Time 2 (2001). Known for his stylish direction and masterful pacing, To crafts a tense cat-and-mouse duel between police and criminal masterminds in two of the most celebrated crime films of modern Hong Kong cinema.

In Running Out of Time, expert hostage negotiator Inspector Ho Sheung-sang (Lau Ching-wan) finds himself locked in a psychological battle with a brilliant criminal (Andy Lau) who has only weeks left to live. As the mysterious fugitive taunts the entire Hong Kong Police Force with a series of daring heists and elaborate schemes, Ho must unravel the true motive behind the crimes before time runs out.

The story continues in Running Out of Time 2, where Inspector Ho returns to confront a new opponent: an eccentric master thief with a flair for theatrical heists and high-stakes deception. With elaborate robberies and clever mind games escalating the tension, Ho once again finds himself racing against the clock.

A massive box-office success and winner of multiple awards at the Hong Kong Film Awards, the Running Out of Time films remain standout examples of Hong Kong’s stylish crime cinema.
