Savage Vows Blu-ray delivers a regional shot-on-video slasher steeped in grief, paranoia and analog-era horror atmosphere, blending hangout-film tension with bursts of homespun gore.

After the death of a friend’s wife, a group gathers at a lakeside house for what is meant to be a quiet weekend of support. Old tensions quickly resurface, relationships begin to fracture and the arrival of a black-gloved killer turns the gathering into a blood-soaked nightmare. What unfolds balances slasher mechanics with an unusually intimate ensemble dynamic, giving the film a distinct personality within 1990s SOV horror.

Directed by Bob Dennis and featuring Mark Polonia, the film has earned cult status for its DIY energy, synth-heavy atmosphere and regional horror texture. Equal parts cozy oddity and grisly slasher, it remains a singular entry in underground genre cinema.
