School on Fire [4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray]

School on Fire 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray is one of director Ringo Lam's most uncompromising and hard-hitting crime dramas, blending the intensity of Hong Kong action cinema with a bleak portrait of corruption, violence and survival. Unflinching in its depiction of life caught between criminal organizations and a failing system, the film stands among the filmmaker's most powerful works.

After witnessing a brutal triad assault, young student Yuen Fong agrees to testify in court, believing she is doing the right thing. Instead, her decision pulls her into a nightmare as ruthless gang leader Brother Smart targets her for revenge and extortion. With danger closing in from every direction, Yuen Fong finds herself trapped in an escalating cycle of intimidation and violence where the line between justice and survival becomes increasingly blurred.

Directed by Ringo Lam and featuring memorable performances from Fennie Yuen Kit-Yang, Roy Cheung Yiu-Yeung and Lam Ching-Ying, School on Fire combines relentless suspense with biting social commentary. Decades after its original release, it remains a landmark of Hong Kong cinema and one of the era's most emotionally devastating crime thrillers.
