Slashening: The Final Beginning [Blu-ray]

Slashening: The Final Beginning Blu-ray continues Troma’s splatter-soaked saga with a grim, lo-fi descent into trauma, urban decay, and slasher excess. Five years after the events of The Slashening, 22-year-old Madison Santangeli relocates to Brooklyn in an attempt to rebuild her life following her father’s suicide. But the past refuses to stay buried as grief, violence, and exploitation collide in this raw, confrontational follow-up that doubles down on nihilism, DIY horror aesthetics, and Troma’s trademark refusal to play it safe. Slashening: The Final Beginning Blu-ray delivers abrasive modern slasher cinema steeped in emotional damage and grindhouse attitude.
