Snow Shark: Ancient Snow Beast [Blu-ray]

Snow Shark: Ancient Snow Beast Blu-ray presents Sam Qualiana’s 2011 microbudget monster movie in a region free release from Wild Eye Releasing. Set in a snowbound town under threat from a prehistoric creature, the film brings the shark movie into absurd winter territory with practical effects, regional filmmaking energy and plenty of DIY charm.

Twelve years after a scientific expedition uncovers something beneath the frozen earth, a quiet town begins experiencing strange and deadly attacks. As the truth emerges, locals, scientists and hunters join forces to confront an ancient predator that moves beneath the snow.

Scrappy, playful and proudly low-budget, Snow Shark: Ancient Snow Beast helped push the modern sharksploitation wave into new terrain. This Blu-ray edition includes new and archival commentaries, behind-the-scenes documentary, interviews, outtakes, original short film, additional shorts, trailers, poster and English SDH subtitles. The limited edition slipcover was limited to 500 units and is now sold out.
