Spidarlings [Blu-ray]

Spidarlings Blu-ray unleashes one of Troma’s most celebrated modern cult films, a ferocious queer body-horror punk rock musical with an unapologetic anarchist streak. Two lesbian anarcho-punk lovers battle a greedy landlord while surviving brutal poverty and nightly chaos at the sleazy club where they work — just as a deranged serial killer begins stalking the scene. Salvation arrives in the most unexpected form: a strange new pet spider whose presence shifts the balance of power. Bursting with off-the-wall musical numbers, DIY gore, political rage, and midnight-movie energy, Spidarlings Blu-ray is proudly confrontational underground cinema. Featuring appearances by Rusty Goffe, June Brown, Toshio Maeda, and Lloyd Kaufman himself, with music by Jeff Kristian, this is pure Troma weirdness turned up to eleven.
