Stranger Eyes [Blu-ray]

Stranger Eyes Blu-ray presents a chilling, psychologically intricate surveillance thriller that probes grief, intimacy, and the uneasy desire to be seen. After months of unanswered questions surrounding their daughter’s disappearance, estranged couple Junyang and Peiying begin receiving anonymous DVD packages containing footage of their own daily lives. What initially feels like a violation of privacy soon becomes something far more disturbing, exposing emotional fractures within their relationship while suggesting a deeper connection between the voyeur and their missing child. As suspicion hardens into obsession, the search for answers leads them toward a truth that refuses simple explanations.

Directed by Singaporean filmmaker Yeo Siew Hua and featuring legendary Taiwanese actor Lee Kang-sheng, Stranger Eyes reframes the surveillance thriller through a deeply human lens. Drawing comparisons to Michael Haneke’s Cache and Alfred Hitchcock’s Rear Window, the film transforms genre tension into a meditation on voyeurism, technology, and emotional vulnerability in the digital age. This release from Film Movement includes a special limited edition slipcover designed by Brandon Schaefer, strictly limited to 500 units.
