Stranger on the Third Floor (US Import) [Blu-ray]

A reporter’s testimony helps convict a man of murder, only for the reporter to find himself suspected when another killing occurs. Convinced that a mysterious stranger connects the two crimes, he must overcome the same assumptions that helped condemn the first accused man. Peter Lorre plays the unsettling stranger, with John McGuire, Margaret Tallichet and Elisha Cook Jr. in Boris Ingster’s atmospheric tale of guilt, fear and circumstantial evidence.
