Supercar: The Complete Series (1961 - 1962) Limited Edition Hardbox (Australian Import) [Blu-ray]

Supercar: The Complete Series LE Hardbox Blu-ray presents the full 1961–1962 Gerry and Sylvia Anderson sci-fi adventure series in a 5-disc limited edition release. One of the earliest Supermarionation productions, Supercar follows intrepid pilot Mike Mercury as he takes to the skies in a futuristic vehicle capable of travelling by land, sea and air.

With Professor Popkiss at the controls and the eccentric Dr. Beaker bringing his mix of brilliance and comic energy, each episode blends adventure, invention and puppet-driven charm. Produced by the creators of Thunderbirds and UFO, the series helped establish the Anderson style of scale model effects, elaborate miniature action and imaginative science-fiction storytelling.

Featuring voice performances by David Graham, George Murcell, Graydon Gould, Sylvia Anderson and Cyril Shaps, Supercar remains a key early chapter in the history of British television fantasy. This Limited Edition Hardbox includes every episode on Blu-ray, commentaries, additional footage, home movie material, image galleries, 48-page hardcover booklet and hardbox packaging.
