TAG: The Assassination Game [Blu-ray]

TAG.: The Assassination Game Blu-ray is a cult thriller that cleverly blends campus comedy, film noir influences and slasher-style suspense into one of the most unique college films of the early 1980s. Written and directed by Nick Castle, best known for portraying Michael Myers in John Carpenter's Halloween, this forgotten gem has earned a devoted following among fans of vintage horror and genre cinema.

At a college campus, students participate in an elaborate game called T.A.G., where players use toy dart guns to "eliminate" one another until only one remains. What begins as harmless fun quickly turns deadly when a participant decides to take the competition far too seriously and starts targeting players for real. As the body count rises, the remaining students must determine who is behind the killings before they become the next victims.

Featuring an impressive cast that includes Robert Carradine, Linda Hamilton, Bruce Abbott, Michael Winslow and future Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker, T.A.G.: The Assassination Game combines sharp suspense, dark humour and an inventive premise that remains just as entertaining today as it was in the VHS era.
