Tatsumi [Blu-ray]

Tatsumi Blu-ray presents Hiroshi Shoji’s gritty Japanese crime thriller about loyalty, revenge and the violent underworld surrounding two unlikely allies.

Tatsumi earns his living disposing of bodies for local yakuza gangs while keeping a low profile as a fisherman. When his former girlfriend is murdered, her teenage sister Aoi becomes determined to seek revenge against those responsible.

Carrying motives of his own, Tatsumi agrees to guide and protect Aoi as her pursuit draws them deeper into the criminal world. Directed with a naturalistic style by Hiroshi Shoji, Tatsumi combines yakuza crime drama with an intimate character study anchored by performances from Yuya Endo and Kokoro Morita.
