Teenage Riot Video Party [Blu-ray]

Teenage Riot Video Party Blu-ray collects four mid-century juvenile delinquency and scare-film features from AGFA and Something Weird. Preserved from DigiBeta and S-VHS masters where original film elements are lost, decayed or inaccessible, the set is a campy time capsule of teen rebellion, exploitation melodrama and drive-in moral panic.

FILMS INCLUDED

Lost, Lonely, and Vicious (1958)

A noir-tinged slice of James Dean-inspired Hollywood melodrama, filmed in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in the wake of Dean’s death.

Jacktown (1962)

A rough-edged teen prison exposé with the feel of a juvenile delinquent paperback brought to the screen, featuring Patty McCormack.

The Flaming Teen-Age (1956)

A “true story” exploitation drama from Irvin S. Yeaworth, the director who would later make The Blob, mixing teen trouble, morality-play drama and 1950s scare-film energy.

The Narcotic Story (1958)

A wild classroom-scare-film style exploitation feature produced by Police Science, presented here from the original Something Weird S-VHS master.

Strange, sensational and packed with vintage drive-in attitude, Teenage Riot Video Party celebrates the wild world of mid-century teen panic cinema. This Region Free Blu-ray edition includes all four features, trailers and drive-in snipes, promotional gallery, all nite slumber party viewing mode, booklet and limited edition spot gloss slipcover.
