Tekkonkinkreet [4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray]

Tekkonkinkreet 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray presents Michael Arias’ visually stunning anime feature, based on the manga by Taiyo Matsumoto and produced by STUDIO4°C. Set in the decaying streets of Treasure Town, the film follows Black and White, two orphaned brothers who survive by patrolling the city’s slums and protecting the only home they know.

Black is tough, skilled and fiercely protective, while White is innocent, imaginative and emotionally vulnerable. When gangsters move in with plans to tear down what remains of Treasure Town and replace it with a theme park, the brothers are thrown into a battle against yakuza, assassins and the darker forces within themselves.

Beautiful, chaotic and emotionally powerful, Tekkonkinkreet blends kinetic action, surreal urban fantasy and a deeply felt story of brotherhood, identity and survival. Now remastered in 4K, this release includes the film on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray, with Japanese audio, English dub option, filmmaker commentary, making-of documentary, director/music interview and teasers and trailers.
