Testament Blu-ray presents Lynne Littman’s quietly devastating portrait of survival in the shadow of nuclear catastrophe. Set in a small California town after a nearby atomic attack, the film follows a mother struggling to care for her children as radiation sickness spreads and the fabric of everyday life slowly unravels. Anchored by Jane Alexander’s deeply human, Oscar-nominated performance, Testament rejects spectacle in favour of intimate observation, offering a compassionate and profoundly unsettling meditation on loss, resilience, and what it means to keep living when the future has vanished.
