The Ark Of The Sun God [4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray]

The Ark Of The Sun God 4K Ultra HD marks the North American UHD and Blu-ray premiere of Antonio Margheriti’s slick, Bond-flavored entry in the Indiana Jonesploitation cycle, blending globe-trotting adventure with elegant traps, ancient curses, and pulp spectacle. Starring David Warbeck as a master thief hired for an impossible museum-grade heist, the film barrels from car chases to mountaintop temples in search of the legendary Scepter of Gilgamesh.

Co-starring John Steiner and Luciano Pigozzi, the film showcases Margheriti’s talent for making international co-productions feel big, fast, and relentlessly entertaining. Written by Giovanni Simonelli and Giovanni Paolucci, the story leans into suave criminal bravado while escalating into supernatural peril, delivering the kind of genre excess that defined Italian adventure cinema of the 1980s.

Presented by Severin Films, this deluxe 3-disc 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray edition features a new 4K scan from the original camera negative, extensive interviews, archival material, and a bonus soundtrack CD collecting music from The Ark Of The Sun God and The Hunters Of The Golden Cobra.
